A learner and student of the science. My interests lie in performance based structural design and sustainable concrete and green structures and put to practice those during my work as Structural engineer.
Driven by the desire to solve complex problems led me to start an innovation club at my university. I interact with students across the country from different domains and conduct skill development sessions. Feel free to reach to me for innovative ideas and interesting projects.

Educational background
I hold a degree in Bachelors in Civil Engineering with an Honor of Gold Medalist from MIT World Peace University, India followed by a Masters degree in Structural Engineering with High Honors from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, ranked as 1st in US for Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering.

Structural analysis, design, peer review and site inspections of various projects.
Performed modeling of multiple RC, Steel and Composite residential, commercial and heritage structures.
Performed lateral analysis and design detailing of multiple structures subjected to wind loads and floods
loads as per ASCE 7 and FBC and considering progressive collapse mechanisms.
Prepared calculation packages for Foundation and Master permits and reviewed shop drawings from
subcontractor to ensure conformity with structural drawings. Prepared Structural inspection reports.
Worked on a township project Forest Trails, Pune with the quality engineering team to perform checks like column diagonals and starters, beam bottoms ,span dimensions, concrete design at RMC plant and steel
reinforcement and prepared costing and quantity estimations to reduce wastages.
Prepared schedule of concrete batching and casting for 3 weeks followed by work delegation to laborers under
the guidance of project engineers.
Performed Structural analysis and design of G+2 bungalow situated on sloping contour with lateral forces on the front columns and provided additional reinforcement in the grade beam to design foundation accordingly.
Performed Structural audits and prepared audit reports for conservation projects.
Studied and reviewed various working drawings.
Performed Structural analysis, modeling and design and developed a special moment resisting frame for a G+11 storey structure as per IS 456, IS 1893 and IS 875, IS 13920 to optimize reinforcement quantities to provide economical sections and also reduce wind and earthquake loads and resist first mode torsion.
